Ceramic Box, Bird

Ceramic Box from California based multidisciplinary visual artist Ariel Clute. 

Each piece is hand built using slab and coil building methods before being painted by Clute in her Berkeley studio. The subject's depth and form emerges through Clute's unique approach to building layers of subtle indigo blue glaze. 

Beautiful as a display piece, jewelry box, or entryway catch alls. Due to the handmade nature of each item, color, size and form may vary slightly.
